Lawyer Overview

Steven M. Gerenraich is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm's Transactional & Securities, Commercial Transactions & Business Counseling, Finance & Financial Institutions, and International Practices. He represents and counsels business owners and entrepreneurs in all areas of commercial activity and corporate operations.

In his mergers and acquisitions practice, Mr. Gerenraich represents both buyers and sellers in transactions ranging in value from less than $5 million to $800 million. Transactions on which Mr. Gerenraich has worked include mergers of public and private companies, stock and asset purchases, and joint ventures.

Mr. Gerenraich has represented start-ups and mature companies in private offerings, joint ventures, venture capital and various other financing transactions.

Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Gerenraich practiced with Freeborn & Peters. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and was a sales and marketing coordinator for Chrysler in Taiwan.

Mr. Gerenraich is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois Law School (1996). His Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian studies and economics was awarded, with honors, by the University of Michigan in 1989.
