Sheena Aebig is a member in the Seattle office and served as the chair of the firm's Business Tax and Financial Services Practice Group from 1996-2000. Since 1979, her practice has focused on insolvency issues and commercial litigation. A frequent speaker on bankruptcy and lender liability matters, Ms. Aebig represents clients in every role of insolvency related proceedings as well as in selected business matters, real estate transactions and commercial litigation. Ms. Aebig also has experience resolving wrongful commercial disputes through arbitration and mediation. She was chosen as a Top Lawyer in Bankruptcy Law for 2003, 2005 and 2007 by Seattle Magazine, was listed as one of Washington's Most Amazing Attorneys in 2006 by Washington CEO magazine, and has been named to Super Lawyers by Washington Law & Politics magazine. Ms. Aebig has also been recognized by the Seattle Met magazine as a "Top Lawyer" in Commercial Litigation for 2010, a designation based upon Martindale-Hubbell's ranking of those practitioners in King County who have been judged by their peers to be "AV Preeminent" the highest peer-review rating available.
