Lawyer Overview

Christiane Stützle is a Certified Specialist for copyright and media law. Her practice focuses on intellectual property and media and communications law. She advises several major Hollywood studios and independent producers on film output deals and on international co-productions, including financing structures and the handling of subsidy applications.

Christiane's work also involves the drafting and negotiating of theatrical, home video, and television license agreements for various film distributors. Furthermore, she serves as the permanent legal advisor to various radio and television channels with regard to all issues arising under media law, including copyright law, media concentration law, unfair competition, press and trademark law, as well as litigation.

Christiane has published various articles on media law topics and is a lecturer for media law at the Berlinale Talent Campus, a special division of the Berlin International Film Festival. She was a guest speaker for film finance and distribution at the 21st Conference on International Audiovisual Law in Cannes in 2007. Christiane is also active in an organization for the top women in the German media industry.
