Lawyer Overview
Toby Schöne focuses on the representation of both German and international clients before civil courts and arbitral tribunals. He has extensive trial and appellate experience, and advises businesses on corporate and commercial law matters. Toby has also been involved in several large cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson Raue, Toby was a partner in the Berlin office of one of Germany's leading law firms. Previously, he was an associate in both the Berlin and Munich offices of an international German law firm. From 1998 to 1999, he worked at a leading Israeli law firm in Tel Aviv.
During law school at the University of Heidelberg, Toby was co-founder of the European Law Students' Association.
