Peter Raue is the name partner in Hogan & Hartson Raue, the Berlin office of Hogan & Hartson. He is one of the most well-known Berlin attorneys, with an excellent reputation in Germany, as well as in the international marketplace, specifically for his practice which covers all aspects of intellectual property rights, including copyrights, publishers right of publication, arts and entertainment, unfair competition law, and law of foundations. Among his many high-profile clients are publishers, artists, actors, theaters and cultural institutions of all kinds, including the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Jewish Museum. Peter advises the federal government and the Berlin government with regard to legal aspects of cultural politics. Peter founded his own law office in 1972 and in 1991 merged his firm Raue Braeuer Kuhla with one of the biggest and most prestigious German law firms. In 2001 Peter, heading a group of 12 partners and 15 associates, joined Hogan & Hartson, operating in Germany under the name Hogan & Hartson Raue.
