Lawyer Overview

Wolfram Hertel's practice focuses on German and international regulatory law including issues of international trade and European Union (EU) and European Community (EC) law. He represents clients in international and national transactions, strategic legal consulting, and regulatory litigation. He has particular experience with Public-Private-Partnerships, privatizations, public procurements, planning and building law, as well as real estate related aspects of environmental law.

Before joining Hogan & Hartson, Wolfram clerked for a leading international management consulting firm and gained experience at the Legal Division of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva.

Wolfram is the author of several books and articles on issues of national and international constitutional and administrative law. He also lectured at Freie Universität Berlin, Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Paris, and New York University, among others.
