Klaus Goecke's practice focuses on real estate and health care law. He advises pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, medical societies, and doctors on a wide variety of issues involving pharmaceutical products law, health care law, foundation and endowment law, and hospital privatization. Klaus has a broad range of experience in real estate investment including real estate sales, purchases and donation, leases, sale and lease back transactions, developer’s investment, and real estate funds and condominium structures, including the tax aspects of these transactions. He advises businesses on all areas of real estate law, including significant questions of corporate and sponsorship law arising in connection with site acquisition and sale. Klaus practices as a notary in the fields of real estate law and the law of succession. He is also experienced in the implications of state and European Union subsidized real property investment. He is an experienced litigator in both real estate and health care law matters. Previously, Klaus was an attorney with the Berlin office of a major German law firm, where he concentrated on real estate and corporate law. He also practiced in the London office of a leading English law firm as well as in a smaller London solicitor’s firm. Klaus has regularly published articles on real estate, health law, and public law issues in Germany’s leading law journals. Klaus was granted scholarships by the German National Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes), which sponsored both his studies and his doctoral dissertation. The dissertation was referred to shortly after its publication by the German Constitutional Court.
