Since joining Hogan & Hartson in 1999, Rene Browne's experience has encompassed a wide variety of complex civil and business litigation matters, including breach of contract claims, tort claims, class actions, insurance coverage disputes, and government investigations and enforcement actions.

Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Rene served as a judicial clerk to The Honorable Cornelia G. Kennedy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Before attending law school, Rene worked in the financial services practice of a Washington, D.C.-based research and consulting firm. In that capacity, she advised international commercial banks, insurance companies and securities firms on best practices in strategic planning, operations, marketing, and distribution channel development.

While at Georgetown University Law Center, Rene served as an editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.
