Christopher Marks is a Member in the Seattle office of Williams Kastner. As a trial attorney, Mr. Marks primarily handles commercial disputes and defends high-stakes product defect claims. His product liability practice encompasses aviation, consumer products, and toxic torts. Mr. Marks serves as national trial counsel for several clients in toxic tort litigation. Mr. Marks also serves in an advising capacity for corporate clients seeking to develop nationwide strategies for the defense of mass-tort litigation. As lead trial counsel, he has obtained defense verdicts in state courts and successfully argued for his clients before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and several of Washington's appellate courts. Mr. Marks is admitted to practice in California, Oregon and Washington. Mr. Marks was named a Rising Star by Washington Law and Politics magazine each year from 2001-2008.

Mr. Marks has been appointed Chair of the American Bar Association's Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee (TTEL) for 2008-2009. TTEL is part of the 36,000 member Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) of the ABA. TTEL addresses all issues relating to litigation and regulation involving toxic tort, hazardous waste, chemical and pharmaceutical exposure. The Committee studies environmental liability matters; compliance with environmental laws; and insurance coverage relating to these issues.
