The founder and president of Bleakley Law Offices, Frederick W. Bleakley, grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where his father practiced workers' compensation law and represented insurance companies. Fred saw first-hand how insurance companies operated, saving money at the expense of injured workers and their families. When Fred became an attorney in 1986, he broke with family ties and tradition, and began a successful career representing injured and disabled workers, not insurance companies.
