Ms. Brown, herself, is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has twice served on the national Board of Governors, and as Chair of the Missouri-Kansas Chapter. She has previously served on AILA's Liaison Committee for the Nebraska Service Center of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and also as the Liaison for the St. Louis, Missouri field Office of USCIS. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois (inactive), and is fully licensed to represent individuals and companies throughout the United States in front of the USCIS, the Department of Labor (DOL), the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Federal District Court of Eastern Missouri, and the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
