Mr. Axelrod has been practicing law for over eighteen years.  His practice is focused exclusively on civil trial work and litigation.  He handles a diverse spectrum of matters on the trial and appellate court levels.  During his career, Mr. Axelrod has successfully tried and settled cases at both the state and federal court levels, including matters in states other than Illinois.  Mr. Axelrod has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements in cases involving commercial and business disputes, copyright infringement, contract law, professional malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and employment disputes.

Prior to opening his own firm, Mr. Axelrod was a partner at the law firm of Schoenberg, Fisher, Newman & Rosenberg, Ltd., from 1994 through 2000.  Before joining Schoenberg, Fisher, Newman & Rosenberg, Ltd., Mr. Axelrod operated his own litigation firm starting in l989.  Mr. Axelrod started his career as an associate at Feiwell, Galper & Lasky, where he was employed from 1984 through 1988.
