Lawyer Overview
Emily Baker's practice includes both the defense of individual and class action consumer and products liability cases and the prosecution and defense of other complex commercial cases. Her experience covers virtually all aspects of discovery and trial preparation, including taking and defending depositions, motion practice, and the preparation of fact and expert witnesses for trial. In addition, she has been a member of several trial teams in high-profile cases tried to verdict, including the defense team that successfully represented The Sherwin-Williams Company in a public nuisance action brought by the Rhode Island attorney general.
Emily is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Defense Research Institute. She also is active in the Atlanta community. She is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta, participates in Emory University's mentorship program, sits on the Emory Law School Law Alumni Board, and is on the board of directors for Girls on the Run of Atlanta. Emily is a barrister in the Lamar Inn of Court and was named a "Rising Star" by Georgia Super Lawyers for 2010.
