Ms. Armstrong, a native of New York State, completed a hospital-based Nursing program at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, New York and became a registered nurse in 1979. Ms. Armstrong received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, School of Nursing in Omaha and graduated with high distinction in 1983. Before and after receiving her degree, Ms. Armstrong practiced nursing in New York and Nebraska in medical, surgical, and cardiothoracic intensive care. She attended the J. Rueben Clark Law School at BYU from 1997-2000 and graduated cum laude in April 2000. The focus of Ms. Armstrong's law practice has been in medical malpractice defense and health information regulation. Ms. Armstrong represents local hospitals, physicians and other medical care providers and facilities.
