Ted Maceiko focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation of patents, trademarks, and copyrights as well as related business actions. He is significantly involved in licensing and other technology transfer agreements, counseling and opinions regarding intellectual property rights, and the management of intellectual property portfolios.

Ted has worked in diverse technologies regarding patent litigation, licensing, and prosecution, including mechanical, electromechanical, security inspection involving X-ray and gamma ray detection, touch screens, optics, software, initiators for automotive air bags, medical devices, wireless communications, stereolithography, digital signal and image processing, internet, and e-commerce. These also include business methods such as finance, mortgage risk evaluation and due diligence, auctions, remote clinical diagnostics, and online medical claim processing.

Ted has assisted clients in enforcing, licensing, procuring, and managing trademark portfolios in the fields of consumer goods, finance, mortgage risk evaluation and due diligence, music recording, clothing, entertainment, games, e-commerce, charitable foundations, and motorsports. He also has maintained copyright portfolios regarding source code and graphical user interfaces.

Prior to attending law school, Ted was an engineer at Texas Instruments and McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Corporation. He also worked at Spruson & Ferguson in Sydney, Australia providing litigation assistance to solicitors and counseling and prosecution assistance on patent and trademark matters.
