John Vogt is an experienced trial lawyer who has represented corporate and governmental clients of all sizes and from varying industries in matters of utmost significance to their operations and interests. John has lead lawyer experience in highly complicated class actions, multiplaintiff labor and employment disputes, securities litigation, heavy civil construction, intellectual property litigation, and "bet the company" commercial disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. John has tried jury and bench cases to a defense verdict, successfully briefed and argued dispositive motions, and obtained or preserved success in several appellate courts, including the California Supreme Court.

John regularly provides litigation-related counseling to corporations and corporate boards on matters involving corporate transactions and agreements, trade secret protection, heavy civil construction, indemnification disputes, electronic discovery, and intellectual property protection. Fortune 500 companies and large governmental agencies regularly call on John to provide advice on their most difficult and complex legal issues.

John is on the board of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers in Orange County and is editor of the ABTL Report for Orange County. He also is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. John devotes considerable time to pro bono clients, including serving as outside counsel to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a nonprofit public benefit corporation.
