Lawyer Overview

John Bibby works primarily on tax-exempt revenue bond financings for health care institutions. He serves as bond counsel for issuers located throughout the United States, including the Illinois Finance Authority. He also acts as underwriter's counsel on transactions located outside of Illinois. In addition, John helps oversee Jones Day's long-term care finance practice. He is primarily responsible for work with health care providers such as The University of Chicago Hospitals, Rush University Medical Center, and Franciscan Communities, Inc. John also frequently serves as underwriter's counsel for clients such as Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Merrill Lynch & Co.

John is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is also a regular panelist at the National Association of Bond Lawyers Bond Attorneys Workshop.
