Most people do not enjoy having to find a lawyer. First, it usually means you're facing a problem, perhaps a major one. Secondly, if you do not already have a lawyer, how do go about selecting one?  There are hundreds of lawyers online and all had to attend law school and had to pass the state bar exam. Perhaps it's a little like selecting a doctor or a surgeon: first you ask friends and family for a recommendation, although most of us are not equipped to evaluate their technical competence.  We would suggest we want experience and we want someone with good "bedside manner", someone who doesn't rush us, and treats us like people, not just another patient. In our firm, we are not only experienced, but as importantly, we treat individuals and families like people, with compassion, sensitivity and empathy.  We treat people as we would want to be treated, not as "just another case".  All our attorneys and staff are hired with that philosophy a key requirement.
