Law Firm Overview

Eileen R. Fitzgerald has been practicing law in the Western suburbs for over 16 years. She has been concentrating her practice in Elder Law for the past nine years. Eileen graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1985 and was admitted to the Illinois and Indiana Bars that same year. Eileen completed a Masters degree in taxation, concentrating in estate planning from John Marshall Law School in January 2002. She also attends numerous legal education seminars to keep up-to-date on the ever-changing elder laws.

Eileen opened her own office four years ago. The primary emphasis of the firm is Elder Law, which includes wills, estate planning, guardianships, probate, health care decisions, independent living options, financing long term health care, trusts, powers of attorney and Medicaid/Public Aid. Eileen also services residential real estate transactions.

Eileen is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a Vice President of the DuPage Senior Citizens Council.
