Lawyer Overview

Roberto Truffi has extensive experience advising Italian clients in multijurisdictional transactions, as well as advising international clients in the Italian market. Roberto advises in the areas of corporate law, bank contracts and secured transactions, syndicated loans, financial products, international transactions, related litigation and arbitration, bankruptcy proceedings (including acquisitions and disposals of distressed assets and restructuring of nonperforming loans), and litigation in insolvency matters. He is head of the Business Restructuring & Reorganization Practice in the Milan Office.

Roberto's recent representations include assisting Dana Corporation in relation to the Italian aspects of the finance restructuring of its European subsidiaries; assisting Exide Technologies in the execution of the Italian component of the group refinancing, including related insolvency issues; assisting Management & Capitali S.p.A. in the framing of its acquisition of a controlling interest in Comital S.p.A., in the restructuring of the overall indebtedness of the companies of the Comital Group, and in the acquisition of new financing; and representing Invista (International) S.à.r.l. and Ramtron International Corporation in several cases connected with bankruptcy proceedings.
