Lawyer Overview

Simone Freund represents major domestic and international clients in civil and commercial proceedings before German courts and international arbitral institutions. Her practice focuses on legal advice in the fields of contract, tort, product liability and safety, construction, lease, and corporate and commercial law. She also advises clients regarding compliance issues.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Simone worked for the European Commission and the international law firm Lovells Boesebeck Droste in Brussels, where she gained valuable experience in the fields of European competition and antitrust as well as in international trade law.

Besides her native German, Simone is fluent in English and has a fair knowledge of French.
