Lawyer Overview

Josh Fuchs' practice is concentrated on complex commercial civil litigation in state and federal courts. Josh has experience in class action defense, multidistrict litigation, product liability, toxic tort claims, and governmental investigations. He has particular experience with consolidating pretrial proceedings for mass tort cases filed in Texas. He has also successfully participated in excluding two toxicologists from a toxic tort case pending in the Southern District of Texas. In addition, Josh has particular experience in dealing with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. During law school, Josh won awards at state and national moot court competitions, including a competition judged by the Honorable Sandra Day O'Connor. He also graduated first in his law school class.

In 2007, Josh was named as a "Texas Rising Star," a select group of attorneys chosen by Texas Super Lawyers, Law & Politics magazine, and the publishers of Texas Monthly. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation, and the State Bar College. He is also a member of the American and Houston Bar Associations and the Texas and Houston Young Lawyers Associations.
