Lawyer Overview

Lawrence Doss joined Mullin Hoard & Brown, L.L.P. in its Lubbock office during the summer of 2001 following a two year position as a briefing attorney for the Honorable Sam R. Cummings, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas.  Since that time, Larry has been named four times by the publishers of Texas Monthly as a "Texas Rising Star," recognizing him as one of the state's top lawyers under the age of 40.  Larry has represented clients in complex disputes involving billions of dollars in trial and appellate courts.

Larry is also dedicated to the success of students at Texas Tech School of Law, where he coaches moot court teams and provides instruction in courtroom advocacy.  He is a graduate of the Leadership Lubbock class of 2004 and has served as a leader in several church and community service organizations.

During law school at Texas Tech, Larry was awarded Order of Barristers, was a member of the Texas Tech Legal Research Board, and earned awards for outstanding achievement in the classroom and intraschool advocacy competitions.  Before law school, he spearheaded successful communications and marketing campaigns for organizations in the ultracompetitive healthcare and information technology industries.
