Mike McCauley has obtained significant victories as trial and appellate counsel in a broad range of cases. He has handled high-stakes class actions, SEC investigations, and commercial cases involving product liability, bankruptcy, securities, insurance, copyright, contracts, unfair competition, and false advertising. Many of these cases were for well-known Fortune 500 clients in the health care, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, retail, and aerospace industries. Most of these cases have ended in dismissals on dispositive motions. For those that went to trial, Mike has prevailed at trial and on appeal in all of them. Before joining Jones Day, he was a litigation partner in the Los Angeles and New York offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
