Lawyer Overview

Eleanor Lam has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation in Australia and in Hong Kong, where she has lived since 1997. Her practice focuses primarily on company law and shareholder disputes, corporate insolvency, and banking disputes. Eleanor has advised/acted for clients ranging from financial institutions and multinational corporations, to Hong Kong private and listed companies, to high-profile individuals in different industry sectors. She was involved in one of the largest shareholders' disputes before the courts in Hong Kong.

In addition, Eleanor's experience includes corporate restructuring, commercial fraud, and regulatory matters such as threatened disciplinary proceedings involving the Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. She has also represented one of the parties involved in one of Hong Kong's largest public inquiries.

She is a member of the Hong Kong Law Society and is a non-practising member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Law Institute of Victoria, Australia.
