Zoe Meigs grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, attended Northwestern University where she earned a BA in English literature, and in 1986 earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law  

      Since 1986 she has practiced in Fort Worth and Dallas, first in corporate and securities work, and since 2000 doing family law in Fort Worth.  Prior to shifting focus to family law, she took a break from practicing law to be a stay-home mom to her two daughters for six years.  

      In April 2001, Zoe Meigs launched her own firm in order to limit her practice to family law and to implement her own philsophy about how clients should be treated.  She handles contested and uncontested divorces, and cases involving custody, visitation, child support, fathers' rights, grandparents' rights, and adoptions.  Most of her cases are in Tarrant County.
