While a partner of the firm, Mr. Beagle served for 17 years as General Counsel of AMC Entertainment and its affiliates, one of the largest theatre exhibition companies in the United States.  In this capacity he was responsible for all of the legal activities of the company, and its affiliates, including the development of an evolving corporate structure, acquisitions, mergers, real estate, financing, litigation and employment law.  In addition, he was responsible for development of the corporate structure and legal affairs of the company's expansion into Canada, Europe, Japan and the Pacific Rim.

Mr. Beagle's representation of the company commenced when the company operated a single theatre in the Kansas City area.

Mr. Beagle serves as Co-Trustee of The Stanley H. Durwood Foundation.

Mr. Beagle was selected by the national trucking industry to serve as the General Counsel to form the first national employer collective bargaining system.  Forty-one employer associations representing more than 1,000 companies participated as members.  Mr. Beagle opened and managed the organization's national office in Washington, D.C. during the development of the industry's negotiating procedures and policies and the administration of the National Master Freight Agreement.  For 25 years he served as counsel to the industry's national negotiating and national grievance (administration) committees and served as Chairman or Vice Chairman of both committees.

Mr. Beagle organized and served as General Counsel of Missouri-Kansas-Nebraska Motor Carriers Conference, Inc., a regional trucking industry organization, and served as counsel to the negotiation and grievance committees, and frequently served as negotiating committee chairman.

Similarly, Mr. Beagle served as General Counsel of the Highway Carriers Association of Kansas City, and was responsible for the negotiation and administration of local collective bargaining agreements and the corporate affairs of the organization.

Mr. Beagle has extensive experience in corporate and labor law and litigation and has served as national labor counsel for many companies.
