Lawyer Overview

Jérôme Assouline specializes in French and international tax matters. He is particularly active in structuring the acquisition of French and foreign companies. Jérôme also regularly advises French and foreign investment funds with their investment in French real estate.

Jérôme also has substantial knowledge of issues raised by the compensation of employees working for multinational groups. He regularly works with foreign companies to implement foreign employee incentives plans in France (stock options, restricted stock units, etc.).

In addition, Jérôme practices in the area of tax planning for French and foreign individuals. His recent experience includes representing beneficiaries of the estate of a U.S. person deceased in France and advising foreign individuals with the acquisition, holding, and disposition of French real estate properties.

Furthermore, Jérôme assists taxpayers in tax and customs audits as well as litigation with tax and customs administration before French courts. He is also a lecturer at the University of Paris IX-Dauphine.
