Mr. Bregman works on a variety of commercial transactions and civil lawsuits. He also serves as a mediator or arbitrator.

He represents numerous business and real estate clients on a wide range of issues. For example, he provides clients with general business advice, negotiates and drafts contracts (such as for leasing, purchase and sale, and loans), and assists clients with business development, business plans, and the pursuit of investment capital.

Mr. Bregman's litigation practice includes the defense and prosecution of commercial lawsuits, contract disputes, complex litigation, professional malpractice litigation, personal injury lawsuits, and general civil litigation.

For several years, Mr. Bregman has assisted in resolving civil disputes by mediation or arbitration in a great variety of claims.

Mr. Bregman is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia , including trial and appellate courts. Mr. Bregman also represents clients in arbitration matters, including before the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Bregman also serves as a mediator to assist parties in the resolution of the disputes. Mr. Bregman served as the Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland. 

Mr. Bregman has been an Adjunct Professor at law at Georgetown University Law School since 1992, teaching a course entitled Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Real Estate Documents. Since 1982, Mr. Bregman has been an Author and Lecturer for Georgetown Law School 's Continuing Legal Education Program.  Since, 1998, Mr. Bregman has been a Professor of Negotiation and Mediation Skills at the Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution (IIMCR).  Mr. Bregman has been an Author and Lecturer for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Law Conference, since 1993.  In 2004, Mr. Bregman was elected a Member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).  Mr. Bregman was listed among the Top Lawyers in DC in The Washingtonian Magazine's Best of Washington edition.  Mr. Bregman was also chosen by both Maryland Super Lawyers and Washington DC Super Lawyers and is listed on the Super Lawyer's website.
