Lawyer Overview

Andrew R. Bosshard is a business, real estate, and tax attorney.  Andrew has a broad-based commercial transactional practice including the formation, financing, and reorganization of corporations, joint ventures, partnerships, limited liability companies, and charitable organizations, as well as in tax planning for businesses, individuals, and trusts.  A particular area of emphasis is tax planning for tax deferred exchanges and involuntary conversions.  Andrew is also experienced in general corporate and business law, banking law and creditors rights, real estate law, and estate planning.

Mr. Bosshard graduated with a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1997, where he earned concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management.

Mr. Bosshard received his law degree, cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the Northwestern University School of Law in 2000, where he served as treasurer of the Student Bar Association and as an editor for the Northwestern University Law Review.

Mr. Bosshard is admitted to practice before all Wisconsin, Minnesota and Hawaii courts.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court for the Districts of Western Wisconsin and Hawaii.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the Hawaii State Bar Association.  Andrew is a past Vice Chair of the Tax Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association.
