Lawyer Overview

James Seegers advises and represents private- and public-sector management clients in connection with employment and labor law matters. He has litigated issues related to discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowers, employment contracts and constitutional rights in federal and state courts in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Mr. Seegers has represented employers in such matters as union organizing campaigns, contract negotiations, unfair labor practice charges and grievance arbitrations. He has also handled matters involving the National Labor Relations Board, the Florida Public Employee Relations Commission, the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, the Orlando Commission on Human Relations and the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.

Mr. Seegers is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Celebration and volunteering at Give Kids the World.

Mr. Seegers is a member of The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.
