Jennifer is a 1994 graduate of Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During law school, Jennifer served as Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law & Social Problems.

After law school Jennifer joined the litigation department of a major New York Law Firm. She left private practice in 1996 for a two-year judicial clerkship, as pro se law clerk, at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Upon completion of her clerkship Jennifer returned to private practice. Jennifer was previously with GMSR from June 2000 to July 2001.

Jennifer is a 1991 graduate of the University of Southern California, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
