Saul Sarney began practicing personal injury law in Denver after earning his law degree from the University of Denver 29 years ago. After graduating, he founded the Firm of Sarney Trarttler and Waitkus where he practiced for some 20 years. Mr. Sarney later founded the Law Firm of Saul R. Sarney P.C., a small boutique law firm emphasizing high quality personalized legal services. This practice emphasizes wrongful death, personal injury and accident claims, and wrongful denial of insurance benefits.

Mr. Sarney is listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in America. Martindale Hubbell has listed Saul R. Sarney as one of  the pre-eminent attorney's in the United States in its' Bar Registry of Pre-eminent attorneys and has awarded him an AV Rating, the highest rating they grant, resulting from surveys of judges and attorneys in Denver.

Saul Sarney is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Colorado Bar Association, The Denver Bar Association, The Brain Injury Association of Colorado and the R.S.D.S. (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) Association of America; he has also served as President of The Board of Directors of the Diana Price Fish Cancer Foundation and has worked on behalf of non-profit charitable foundations in the Denver area for over 20 years.

Mr. Sarney has served as Chairman of the Interprofessional Committee of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations and has worked closely with attorneys, doctors and other professionals within Colorado to develop professional and effective relationships between doctors, lawyers and other professionals to benefit patients and clients. He serves on numerous committees of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations.

Mr. Sarney has taught attorneys, paralegals and law students in seminars and workshops on various topics including wrongful death, trial litigation skills and techniques, evidence, traumatic brain injury, and insurance law. He also participates in ongoing legal education programs to stay current on the latest information, changes and innovations in legal and medical issues. Mr. Sarney has represented clients in Colorado and other states including Kansas, Nebraska and New Mexico.
