Lawyer Overview

Gregory Lee practices in the Business Group, primarily representing clients in land use, real estate development, local government law and real estate transactions. Other areas of experience include timeshare services, as well as asset-based lending and securitizations.

Mr. Lee has been actively involved with the residential and commercial real estate industries since 1994 and has managed and represented many projects valued in excess of $1 billion throughout Central Florida. Before entering the practice of law, Mr. Lee worked at a Central Florida hospitality management and multifamily development company as special projects liaison. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Mr. Lee served as President and Chief Operating Officer of a diversified Central Florida real estate development company. Mr. Lee was responsible for the primary leadership and operational efforts associated with several land development and construction companies, overseeing a portfolio of projects with over 750 single-family residential units, over 1,500 condo-hotel units and over 500,000 square feet of commercial-retail.

Mr. Lee serves as Chair of the City of Orlando Community Venues Oversight Committee. In addition, he sits on the City of Orlando Municipal Planning Board and has served as a two-term Past President of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Orlando. Mr. Lee is an Executive Committee Member of the Orlando Chapter of Young President’s Organization (YPO). He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Lee has served as an expert on real estate development and law-related topics for speaking engagements and publications throughout the State of Florida.
