Sheila Shadmand represents international organizations in a diverse range of complex commercial disputes before a variety of judicial and arbitral bodies. Maintaining an active counseling practice, she advises clients with respect to FCPA, embargo, anti-money laundering, and other issues unique to international business. She also has successfully led internal investigations on behalf of her clients before various regulatory agencies in the United States.

Sheila represents the National Security Archive in its widely publicized lawsuit against the Executive Office of the President and other defendants, seeking to preserve and restore millions of missing emails from the White House. She is also representing a major private equity firm in recovering millions of dollars of artwork assets. In addition, Sheila has represented a variety of the Firm's Fortune 500 clients in restructuring/bankruptcy-related litigation, government-related investigations, and disputes related to commercial fraud, contracts, construction, and property issues. Representative clients include Bon Secours Health System, Breed Technologies, Exide Technologies, General Motors Corporation, Goodrich Corporation (formerly B.F. Goodrich), Nextel, Procter & Gamble, SABMiller, Washington Group International, and XM Satellite Radio.

Sheila has appeared in The American Lawyer, the ABA Journal, The Washington Post, and other national media and trade publications in connection with her legal work. She is currently on the UAE task force on bankruptcy reform. Sheila is also the Administrative Partner and Pro Bono Partner of the Dubai Office.
