Law Firm Overview

My firm concentrates on Family Law. I handle all types of Family Law matters ranging from divorce, child custody, step-parent adoption, separation, child support arrearages etc. Our office is in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I appear in Family Court in the following counties: Greenville, Cherokee, Union, Laurens and Spartanburg.

The cornerstone of my success is the quality relationship that I maintain with clients. Clients are treated with integrity and repect and we listen to their needs, goals and objectives.

I use the latest technology and cost effective methods to provide services in a professional and friendly atmosphere. I concentrate on using discovery techniques to "get the facts" so that when we go to court we have accurate information to present to the court.

I have a well-trained, highly experienced staff. I utilize two paralegals along with two other staff members. Each member of my staff has had personal experience with family law. I believe that makes us more empathetic and understanding of the problems and issues our client's face. We attempt to be the best-prepared party in each case. This leads to better settlements along with better results in trial. We set our hours to suit our clients and are willing to communicate with clients, as they prefer whether via in-person meetings, phone calls, e-mails, faxes etc.

I was licensed to practice in 1977 at the age of 22. It is believed that I was the youngest lawyer ever to pass the bar and be sworn in, in South Carolina. I spent six years in a general practice firm where I practiced in areas such as personal injury and business law along with family law. Subsequently I was general counsel and Vice President of Corporate Development to a national company for three years then owned my own business for 11 years. In 1994, I resumed the full time practice of law with a practice that concentrated in the family law area.
