Lawyer Overview

Bill is an associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Business Practice Department in the New Haven office. His practice includes public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, and he regularly represents emerging growth companies with respect to venture capital financing transactions, strategic alliances and capital formation. In addition, Bill also advises companies regarding compliance with various laws and regulations which impact their ability to raise funds, such as the Securities Act, the Securities Exchange Act, Sarbanes-Oxley, Reg. FD and rules promulgated by the NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ and the NASD. Bill joined Wiggin and Dana in 2007.

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Bill worked for nine years at a law firm in New York City where he represented issuers and leading securities firms in a variety of public and private securities offerings, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 equity and debt offerings, equity and other derivative offerings and convertible, exchangeable and variable-rate debt and preferred stock offerings.
