Law Firm Overview

Kirt Ludwig has lived in and practiced law in Burlington, Wisconsin since 1966. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kirt's son, Peter Ludwig joined the firm in 1993. He is also a graduate of UW-Madison.

Kirt Ludwig has a long history of community involvement from local service groups to work with City and Town governmental entities. Peter was a graduate from Burlington High School. Both Ludwigs have strong community ties, not only to Burlington, but to the entire Southeast Wisconsin area.

The Ludwigs are sole practitioners in general, civil matters. Kirt's practice includes probate and estate planning, real estate, business matters and muncipal work. Peter practices in these areas as well, and also focuses on family law, bankruptcy and litigation. Both have extensive Courtroom experience in Racine, Kenosha, Walworth and Waukesha Counties, and are well familiar with the personnel and practices of the various court systems.

As a small firm, the Ludwigs can offer one-on-one attention to your matter. You won't meet with associates or paralegals- you'll be meeting with your lawyer. Our staff is friendly and helpful. At the same time, the Ludwigs have access to state-of-the-art technology which allows them to represent you in an efficient and cost-effective manner, and with tools and resources the equal of larger firms, but the fees of a small firm.
