Professional Experience

Julia was admitted to practice law in Michigan in 1996. She is a member in the firm's Litigation group. Before joining Jaffe, she was an associate at Timmis & Inman L.L.P. from November 1996 to August 1999. Julia is an adjunct professor of family law at University of Detroit Mercy and serves on the Board for Kids Talk, a program that supports interviewing protocol for children who have been abused.  Julia also is a member of the Representative Assembley of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the Standing Committee on Ethics for the State Bar.

Areas of Emphasis

Family Law
Julia's major emphasis is representing clients with family law issues including divorce, property division, custody and support issues, paternity and all post judgment matters. 

Commercial Litigation
Julia also represents clients in matters pertaining to commercial and insurance litigation, including employment, leasing, property and general contract issues.
