Mike's practice encompasses a broad range of real estate related matters including: environmental permitting and litigation, land-use approvals and disputes, eminent domain issues and general real estate disputes. In addition to resolving disputes through litigation or arbitration/mediation, he has represented clients on matters before the Minnesota Department of Commerce, multiple city councils and the Office of Administrative Hearings.

Mike has recently devoted much of his practice to the emerging regulation of greenhouse gas emissions through the environmental permitting processes administered by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Army Corp of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency.
