Lawyer Overview

Bob practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, cross-border joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. He has been actively involved in representing clients in private equity and venture capital financings in China, serving as counsel to both investors and companies from initial Series A financings through IPO or final disposition.

Bob also represents multinational corporations in various industries with their international transactions, particularly in connection with their cross-border merger and acquisition activities, technology licensing transactions, and other strategic alliances. He has worked with companies in the software, biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors to implement their business strategies in China.

Prior to beginning his law career, Bob worked in China between 1996 and 1999 with the United States Consulate in Guangzhou and in Beijing with the American Chamber of Commerce.
