Kevin S. Budge is Counsel in the Litigation Department in the firm's New Haven office. His practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation and probate litigation. Kevin provides counsel and gives presentations to healthcare providers regarding managing risks and limiting liability. Kevin also provides counsel and representation to hospitals and other healthcare providers in conservatorship, psychiatric commitment, electroconvulsive shock therapy and psychiatric medication proceedings before courts in the State of Connecticut. Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Kevin was in private practice concentrating on insurance defense, personal injury defense and commercial litigation.

Kevin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. He received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law. Kevin is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, New Haven County Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Connecticut Defense Lawyers Associate and Defense Research Institute (DRI).
