After graduating from William Mitchell College of Law in 1982, where he was a member of the law review, Stephen practiced in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in divorce and family law for a large national firm.

In 1985, Stephen decided to move away from those cold Minnesota winters to enjoy the natural wonders Oregon offers. He continued to work for the same national firm. Then Stephen worked for the State Public Defenders Office addressing constitutional issues at the trial and appellate levels before returning to family law in 1991.

As a devoted father of two boys, he enjoys coaching them in sports and is active in their educational pursuits. Stephen understands the family unit and the unique emotional needs that arise when dealing with complex divorce and family issues. He can offer guidance and support within his office as well as additional help from other trusted professionals he has a long standing relationship with in finance, psychology and real estate.

As an attorney, Stephen Bedor established his law office in Lake Oswego in 1991 so he could practice primarily in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties. Nothing pulls his energy away from family law. His experience and dedication in this area serves his clients well. As a result, he can offer superior legal representation.
