Lawyer Overview

Lawrence J. Schoenwald uses over 35 years experience as a trial lawyer to get the job done and achieve justice for his clients. For over 25 years, he has concentrated on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. Larry is admitted to practice in Colorado, the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Larry is very active in several professional organizations relating to medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. He is a past President of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and served as Co-Chair of its Medical Malpractice Committee for 10 years. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice, on the Board of Trustees of the Denver Bar Association and as Chair of its Interprofessional Committee.  He currently serves on the Litigation Council of the Colorado Bar Association.

Mr. Schoenwald earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College.

He has been honored as a Colorado Super Lawyer in 2006 and 2007.
