Sandra P. Greenblatt is one of the first Florida lawyers to be Board Certified as an expert in Health Law (1995-present) and holds both a J.D. and a Masters Degree in Business/Health Administration. Ms. Greenblatt is President of the boutique health law firm of Sandra Greenblatt, P. A. in Miami, Florida. She enjoys the AV highest rating in competence and ethics from Martindale-Hubbell, an AVVO Rating of 10 (Superb) and was named one of the Top Lawyers in South Florida for each year from 2000-2008 by the South Florida Legal Guide; as a member of Legal Elite in 2005-2008 by Florida Trend magazine; as a Florida Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in 2006-2008; as a Heavy Hitter in Health Care in 2005; Best of the Bar for 2003-2005 by the South Florida Business Journal; and as the Best Healthcare Attorney" of 1996 by Florida Medical Business. Ms. Greenblatt was previously associated with prominent Florida and national law firms. She has served as a registered lobbyist, successful in getting a client included in Florida Statutes. Her practice is concentrated on representing physician groups and physicians, practice management companies, pharmacies, hospitals, long term care facilities, mental health centers and other health care providers and businesses in connection with their specialized contractual, regulatory, technology and business matters and government relations. She served as lead counsel in 2006 for the $60+ Million Dollar sale of affiliated clinics and diagnostic centers to a publicly traded company. Ms. Greenblatt has more than 20 years experience in assisting clients with contracts, joint ventures, the formation and representation of HMOs, MSOs, IPAs, TPAs, IDTFs, asset and stock sales, mergers and acquisitions and Corporate Compliance Programs, as well as giving advice regarding the Stark Law, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues, legislative, licensure and fraud and abuse matters.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Greenblatt was a Hospital Administrator for the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. She has published numerous articles on health law topics and speaks frequently on technology contracting, corporate compliance and other health law issues to national and regional professional and industry associations, including the American Health Lawyers Association, The Florida Bar and the Medical Group Management Association. She serves as Chairperson of the Annual Florida Bar Advanced Health Law Issues and Certification Review Course and is a member of the Executive Board of The Florida Bar Health Law Section. Sandra also is a founder and Past-President of Women in Healthcare of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Sandra is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, The Florida Bar Health Law Section, American College of Legal Medicine, the South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association and the Florida Academy of Healthcare Attorneys. She served as an Appointee to the Statewide HMO Advisory Committee to the Florida Department of Insurance, which assisted in creating the first HMO regulations in Florida. Still finding time to serve her community, she serves as a member of the Board of Governors of both the Dade Community Foundation and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, sits on the Advisory Council to the University of Miami Health Administration Program and is a member of the Dean's Circle of the University of Miami School of Law.

Sandra received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review and the Wig and Robe Honor Society; her M.B.A. in Health Administration, with honors, from the University of Miami; and her B.A., cum laude, from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
