Ms. Courtney has practiced family law for more than 15 years, concentrating her practice in the areas of divorce, distribution of marital assets, support and custody. She has represented CEO's, individuals with high net worth, as well as other professionals in addition to representing the spouses of said individuals.

In 2005, 2006, and 2007, Ms. Courtney was named a "Pennsylvania Rising Star Super Lawyer" recognized as the top 2.5 percent of all lawyers under age 40 in the Commonwealth as selected by her peers statewide in a joint project of Law & Politics Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine.

Ms. Courtney is an active member of the Bucks County Bar Association, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey Ms. Courtney currently serves on the Board of Directors of St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, Delaware.

Ms. Courtney has received a BV rating from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review system which attests to her professional ability and ethics based on confidential opinions of the local Bar and Judiciary. Martindale- Hubbell BV rating is defined as follows: "An indication of exemplary reputation and well-established practice. Ms. Courtney received her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993, where she was elected to Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity and her B.S. from the University of Delaware in 1990, where she was elected to Mortar Board and elected President of her senior class.
