Lawyer Overview

Don’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration of estates and trusts, adoptions, and real estate. He earned his degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University School of Law.

Don’s expertise spans the full range from typical wills between spouses to very complicated and unusual probate situations. His experience covers closely held business entities as well as corporate and partnership organizations. The goal is always to achieve the client’s personal goals while accurately assessing and reducing the impact of taxes on the family’s net worth.

It is believed by many that Don handles more adoptions than any other lawyer in Lehigh County, both private and those involving an agency, as well as step-parent adoptions. He does not, however, place any children for adoption or handle any international adoptions.

He has taught courses on estates and trusts as an adjunct faculty member at Pennsylvania State University, Cedar Crest College, and the Institute for Paralegal Studies.

In the winter, Don enjoys paddle tennis, and in the summer he’s hopelessly addicted to golf.
