Lawyer Overview

Dana Floyd practices exclusively in family law, including divorce and all issues associated with child custody and visitation. She currently serves as a guardian ad litem in contested custody matters and has represented indigent clients in juvenile court proceedings. Prior to joining Aussenberg Waggoner LLP, Ms. Floyd was a solo practitioner representing a wide variety of clients in all family law matters.

Ms. Floyd attended the University of Georgia and earned her B.A in History in 1992. From there, she proceeded to earn her juris doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 1996. Ms. Floyd practiced law for 9 years in Chicago, Illinois prior to returning home to Atlanta, Georgia to open her own law firm in 2004.
