The firm focuses exclusively on complex marital and family law matters involving all aspects of divorce and family law including the timesharing and support of children, distributions of property and businesses, and the support of spouses. As one of only a handful of Board Certified marital and family law lawyers in the Jacksonville area, Mr. Willmott was recently a featured lawyer in Jacksonville Magazine's Northeast Florida's Top Law Professionals.

"For the last fifteen years, my philosophy as a lawyer has been to take care of the client as if they were family and to offer emotional as well as affordable legal support to families in their time of need. Further, our goal is to help provide amicable resolutions in divorces while at the same time aggressively protecting our client's rights."

As a leading lawyer in the Jacksonville family lawyer community, Mr. Willmott has served as Chairman of the Family Law Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association since 2003 and is a former member of the Executive Council of the Florida Family Law Inn of Court. In addition to representing clients as a divorce lawyer, Mr. Willmott has successfully mediated hundreds of family law cases as a Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator. As part of his commitment to fostering excellence in the legal profession, Mr. Willmott's experience as a lawyer allows him to enjoy teaching as an Adjunct Professor at the acclaimed Florida Coastal School of Law. Mr. Willmott is a popular guest speaker at Jacksonville University's Purses and Portfolios where he provides guidance on all aspects of marital law for women executives and professionals. He is also responsible for and lectures at the Jacksonville Bar Association's annual legal education seminar for lawyers specializing in family law.
