He has been practicing family law for over 25 years, and has litigated family law cases in the California counties as far away as Sacramento, Placer, Calaveras and Fresno, as well as in the nearby counties of Marin, San Francisco, Contra Costa, Orange, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Cruz and Santa Clara.
His practice formerly included criminal law, workers compensation law, employment law and administrative law, and he has represented a wide range of clients, from the disadvantaged clients in Social Security Administration hearings to physicians in Board of Medical Quality Assurance hearings.
Prior to his admission to law school, he was an Accounting Manager of a large pigment and dye manufacturer and Director of Marketing and Engineering of a Fortune 500 manufacturer of automotive equipment. His business management experience and his former legal experience in several legal specialties has provided him with the unique ability to extract the important facts and issues from a family law case. This ability, in turn, allows him to quickly and critically analyze the impact of those facts and issues on a client and to keep his clients focused on those issues and not allow them to be distracted by the emotional aspects of a case.
